The Checklist was compiled over 50 years of camping. We hope it will be of some value. The items on this ASCII checklist were originally recorded on a set of recipe cards in the years we camped with our kids. We found it invaluable to consult them prior to each trip. Even though we had a system of packing, the cards helped us avoid forgetting important items. We started camping again in earnest when we retired so I have now computerized the list.
